Who are we? Where do we play? When do we train? What did I come in here for?

Come and play with us!

Based in south-east London and Kent, Remnants Hockey Club is recruiting gay-friendly players of all abilities for the 2017-18 season. We field a women's team in the Kent League, currently in Division 4.

Where we play

Our home pitch for all home games this season is Colfe's Leisure Centre, Horn Park Lane, Lee London SE12 8AW. It's owned by Colfe's School.

There are two (free) car parks, the leisure centre one accessed from Upwood Road (nearer the loos) and the school one from Horn Park Lane (nearer the pitch) - take your pick. If you’re coming by public transport the following bus routes stop within walking distance: 122, 321, 178, 202, 261, B15, 160, and Lee train station (Charing Cross/Cannon Street) is five minutes' walk from the Centre.

When/where we train

This season we will be training with New Beccs hockey club at their pitch on Mondays from 7.15-8.30pm at HSBC Sports and Social Club, Lennard Road, Beckenham, BR3 1QW. Warm-ups from 7.15-7.30, and coached skills training on the astroturf from 7.30-8.30pm. After training we rehydrate in the clubhouse - essential strategizing time.

When we play matches

We play on Saturdays. Home matches are at Colfe's (see above) at 12.30pm (arriving at 12 for warm-up). Away matches are also on Saturdays but times vary. Since we play in the Kent league, matches are in south east London and Kent. The season runs from September to April. Check the match times on our fixtures page. Supporters are very welcome!

Training starts on Monday 11th September 2017.
